Profile

Sharon Asser-Ribbert (1971) studied Dutch law at the Free university in Amsterdam. Since 1998 she worked as a company lawyer mainly within public multinationals in the ICT and industry. Her work comprised recommending Executive Board and Management at international corporate level in the field of company law, private law, business law and employment law. She has extensive experience in:

• mergers, acquisitions and divestments;
• antitrust filings;
• setting up of joint ventures;
• Corporate Governance;
• participating and recommending at negotiations;
• drafting and assessing national and international contracts;
• standardising contracts and general terms & conditions;
• tender procedures
• reorganisations and restructuring;
• carrying out of internal legal audits;
• creating legal awareness within the organisation;
• settling of and finding smooth solutions for disputes and claims;
• giving training concerning relevant legislation or identified legal developments; and
• drafting and implementing policies.
